Admin./ biographical historyLawrence Dulake was a General Surgeon and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (1970). He graduated from King's College Hospital, London in 1924 with honours in surgery and pathology. He passed the MRCS in 1921, but as he was underage he had to wait until 1922 to qualify. When studying for the FRCS he became severely ill with septicaemia, and in 1925 he entered practice as a general practioner surgeon and did not become a Fellow of the College until 1970, by election, four years after he retired.
