DescriptionCorrosion cast of the arterial circle of Willis.
From above the hexagonal shape of this anastomosis formed round the optic chiasma and infundibulum is well illustrated. The left anterior cerebral artery is small and gains reinforcement from the right via the anterior anastomotic artery. Both posterior anastomotic arteries appear smaller than usual.
