Transcript3252: Two eggs of a Spotted Dog-fish in the shell of each of which a window has been cut to show the contained embryo, at about the same period of development as in the previous specimen. In the specimen on the left, black bristles have been inserted into the slits in the egg-shell through which a circulation of water is maintained around the embryo. It should be noticed that the position of the embryo differs in each egg.
