One of a series of 14 watercolours by Adam showing the places where Joseph Lister worked (see related records).
Preserved in an album presented to Joseph Lister on his retirement from practice in 1895, inscribed to him as 'a token of the esteem in which he is held by those of his former colleagues and pupils whose names are appended'. The album contains 17 pages of names and addresses of those who signed the album, followed by watercolour paintings of the University of Glasgow, University of Edinburgh and King's College Hospital. The album is preserved in the College archives (Ref. MS0021/2/3/3).
