DescriptionA vertebra from the same patient as P534 showing a small ulceration of the bone on the ventral surface of the body.
This ulceration is a consequence of the carcinoma that fills the vertebral body, which is of the kind seen in the preceding five preparations.
Hunter believed that this patient died with tuberculosis but a diagnosis of metastases has been made subsequently by others.
