DescriptionThree thoracic vertebra showing significant scoliosis as a consequence of the ankylosis of the posterior arches and articular processes on the right side.
There is significant osteophyte development at the margins of the right posterior arches, while the vertebral bodies have atrophied on their right sides with some loss of structural integrity in the concavity of the curvature. These changes may be the consequence of ankylosing spondylitis.
