Obverse: A cherub blows a torch in an attempt to re-kindle it.
Reverse: A wreath of oak leaves tied with ribbon.
The medal is a direct copy of that issued by the Royal Humane Society in London.
Presented to William Henchman Crowfoot in 1805. Crowfoot practised as a surgeon at Beccles in Suffolk. In 1805 he successfully revived a soldier whose body had been found on the beach at Kessingland. For his action he was awarded the silver medal of the Suffolk Humane Society.
