Scope and ContentThis series contains papers relating to Wood-Jones' work and career including his published and unpublished articles and lectures for various scientific publications including the 'Journal of Anatomy' and the 'Lancet', drafts of his autobiography, a collection of scientific notes and bibliographies Wood-Jones compiled for his research, photographs, sketches and notes for his study of Turbinares, scientific and archaeological manuscripts by other authors sent to Wood-Jones and correspondence, notes and clippings compiled by Wood-Jones during his preparation to write the biography of Archibald Watson. The series also includes poetry and short stories written by Wood-Jones under the pseudonym 'Natterjack' for 'A Medical Bulletin', copies of Wood-Jones' bibliography compiled by Dr Barry Christophers and an extensive collection of photographs, X-Rays and sketches by Wood-Jones for research purposes. Additionally there is a collection of photographs and copies of documents relating to Australian Aborigines and the proclamation of martial law against them in 1828 by George Arthur.
