Scope and ContentSeries of letters, from various correspondents to Sir Astley Cooper, giving descriptions of cases, including some regarding the illnesses of William IV, the Duke of Wellington, and Lady Flora Hastings. The file also includes some letters to Bransby Blake Cooper with information for his ‘Life of Sir Astley Cooper,’ and also letters from Sir Astley Cooper to William Clift and Sir Everard Home. The majority of the letters are stamped as belonging to the ‘Stone Collection.'
