Scope and ContentThe payment and expenses forms for the museum specimens for the years 1802-1831. Includes payments for, amongst other things: anatomical models in wax; a Bactrian Camel; the stuffing of animals; items purchased from the British Museum; an elephant, a baboon and a leopard; part of a whales head; 2 "fatal walrusses"; stuffing for a manatee; a horse spleen with a very large cyst, and a snake. The total bill is for £2490, 10 shillings, and 6 pence.
