Scope and ContentThe payment and expenses forms for the museum specimens for the years 1832-1841. Includes payments for, amongst other things: articles purchased from Gaskell's sale; lemur, macaw, armadillo and cat skeletons; 4 pieces of a mosasaurus from Paris; a carriage of specimens from the Natural History Museum; fossil of mastodon; "stitching 7 skeletons"; Clift articles for the museum; fossils from India; whale tooth; and pathological preparations from Dr Todd's collection. The total bill is for £5211, 7 shillings, and 5 pence.
