Scope and ContentThe two drawings are by C Shepley. They were published in Gordon-Taylor, "On abdominal injuries and their recipients", British Journal of Surgery Volume 26, Issue 102, pp. 217-231.
One is labelled Fig 16 and depicts a cross section of thigh (through Hunter's Canal) showing large Fibro-Sarcoma; Fig 18 shows a sarcoma of scalp, secondary to the sarcoma of thigh "removed from same patient ... three years later. Cells spindle shaped. (Department of Surgery University of Edinburgh.)
